Within this framework, it aims to enhance the position of the port and industrial complex in the region in the short and long term, both nationally and internationally.

  • taking responsibility for nautical and maritime safety and order in the region
  • promoting the development, construction, management and operation of the port area

VLAKWA

The Flanders Knowledge Center Water (Vlakwa) wants to provide demand-driven solutions for the Flemish water problems and in this way meet future needs. The recovery effects for Flanders, such as the preservation of employment at activities that are threatened by water problems and the establishment of new businesses, play a central role.

VLAKWA will provide input, feedback and project opportunities to the CAPTURE Water pipeline.
