On Tuesday the 6th of May between 13h - 15h, we organize our next CAPTURE Café around the theme "The role of science in restoring ecosystem services". The Café will take place in the Ghent city center (Buurthuis Prinsenhof, Zilverhof 34b, 9000 Ghent). It is organized on the occasion of the Drinkable Rivers collective walking through Ghent between the 5th and 7th of May.
Several researchers and experts will highlight their view on which steps are needed in their research field to obtain safe and clean rivers, with the case of a 'drinkable' river Scheldt as a hypothetical example.

- 13:00 Welcoming introduction
- 13:10 Scientific keynotes
- Dr. Thomas Pluym - Microbial quality: monitoring, control and risks
