The Industrial Catalysis and Adsorption Technology (INCAT) research group at Ghent University is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher as part of the BIOVALCOR Moonshot-Catalisti project. The duration of the project is 3 years. Your tasks will include:
·         Developing a process integrating extraction and catalytic depolymerization of lignin from deproteinized rapeseed meal using green solvents.
·         Developing a stable, continuous catalytic depolymerization process.
·         Characterizing lignin and the resulting biophenolic products (oligomers, dimers/ monomers) using various analytical techniques.
