CAPTURE is hiring! We are looking for a job student to support our Video Studio in Ghent over the summer months.

We record all kinds of videos ranging from lecturing lecturers, promo making professionals, to pitching PhD students. Our ‘knowledge clips’ are implemented in our online learning modules, in combination with activating exercises and quizzes. But we also broaden our horizon and record on external locations such as labs, during field trips, interesting installations etc. Furthermore, our communication team will rely on your help every once in a while for CAPTURE events, creative website content, presentation templates and so on.

What we need: a student with great editing and video skills for recordings and post-editing (subtitles, short animations, intro/outro’s,…). We work with Camtasia Studio. Professional communication and follow-up is needed when organizing the recordings with the speakers.

Language: Great communication and redaction skills for English are needed for subtitling. Mastering Dutch is a plus.

What we offer: a crash course for our online learning platform if needed. You get to work autonomously in an environment of mutual trust, of course with sufficient support and framing from our video team. All of this in our brand new top-notch modern building in Ghent (Zwijnaarde).

Timing: First aid help needed full time for the summer months. Got the CAPTURE video vibe? Then you can also stay half time (20 hours weekly) for the next academic year or longer.

Money? There’s no such thing as a free lunch ? we pay our job students according to the salary scale 3.1 of Ghent University.

Interested? Send your CV to training@capture-resources.be, and let’s hope we’ll be able to recruit you soon!
