On Friday the 17th of January between 12h-14h, we organize our second CAPTURE Café. We will focus on the question 'Is sustainability / circularity drowning?'

The Belgian and the European primary industries are in rough water. This has a direct effect on investments in sustainability and circularity. It might lead to re-location of production sites, delay of large investments in novel/green technologies or worst case, bankruptcies of companies with core activities in these domains. It also delays new businesses to kick-start a recycling and resource efficient economy. We should ask ourselves the question what the effect will be on the future competitiveness of our economy. Do we need companies with focus on circularity (recycling, resource recovery, etc.) to thrive to stay an international relevant economic player? Can we risk stalling this branch of economic activities?

In the CAPTURE café of the 17th of January, we will dive into these questions. The café is open for the broad network, but places are limited to 50, so we can guarantee a lively discussion. If you are interested in this discussion and are willing to interact, please join and reach out via this registration link
