Valorization of the research can take several forms. To ensure a well embedded valorization programme, researchers have access to business developers and technology transfer staff from all partner institutes in a strong network.
A clear trajectory for valorization are off course spin-off companies, some of the latest examples are listed below.
Other, less visible valorization activities are the development of patent portfolio´s and industrial & societal uptake of ideas & concepts. A clear example of this are the activities that lead to the North CCU Hub.
Transfer of ideas and concepts to society also occurs via opinion & discussion pieces and contributions to public reports. Examples of these activities can typically be found on our twitterfeed and LinkedIn page.
Our collaborations with innovative companies within the business platforms of the pipelines is another key aspect for valorizing new insights. A more detailed description of each businessplatform can be found on the pipeline pages.
Since CAPTURE is supported by four partners institutes, collaboration across border of institutes is also possible in support functions such as the technology transfer and EU project support offices. This activity is coordinated by CAPTURE valorization manager Marleen Claeys.
