At CAPTURE we value a close collaboration with industrial partners to (1) understand practical concerns and future needs of local industries and (2) create a network that enables effective valorization of (scattered) academic, industrial and policy knowledge from our key partners toward society.
To enable these two goals, two thematic business platforms: “Water fit for use” and “ CO2 to product” where established. Since 2022 also an alliance with the regional business platform Smart Delta Resources was established.
Next to these business platforms we work in close collaboration with the Flemish spearhead clusters and sector organizations for thematic developments.

Smart Delta Resources
Smart Delta Resources (SDR) is a cross-border partnership (FL-NL) of companies, port authorities, knowledge institutions, governments, and network operators in the Flemish-Dutch Scheldt-Delta region.
SDR supports industry in the region in its transformation into a sustainable, prosperous and circular industrial cluster. SDR connects parties from various sectors and provides access to solutions, knowledge and innovations essential for achieving sustainability goals. This is done through task forces for general information sharing and via specific projects or participation in third-party led projects with a focus on CCU/S, sustainable utilities such as water, heat and electrification, infrastructure development and sustainable sourcing of materials.
