CAPTURE Entrepreneurship Development programme
CAPTURE aims at creating an entrepreneurial mindset among its researchers and wants to stimulate them to start their own innovative business. Therefore CAPTURE will, in collaboration with the Ghent University Tech Transfer Office, train researchers in the basics of entrepreneurship. A first edition took place between March and May 2018. Five groups of PhD students and postdocs were guided through the process of setting up an own business, based on their research. The course consisted of group sessions, individual coaching sessions and guest speakers. The event ended with a pitching session at VOKA Gent. The aim is to organize a next edition of the course in the course of 2019-2020.
